The Department of Computer Science and Engineering organized a Social Activity Programme at Mamandur Cave Temple on 26.02.2026 with active participation from III Year CSE A and B Section students. The programme focused on maintaining cleanliness around the heritage site and promoting a green and sustainable environment.

Students enthusiastically took part in cleaning activities, waste collection, and plantation work under the guidance of faculty coordinators. During the programme, students were also briefed about the historical importance of the Mamandur Cave Temple.

The students gained valuable insights into the heritage of the Tamils, the history of Tamil civilization, and the architectural excellence of ancient Tamil architecture, including rock-cut cave structures and stone carvings. This exposure enhanced their cultural awareness along with social responsibility.
