A Historic Day for JIT IEEE SB

On 29th August 2025, the Jeppiaar Institute of Technology IEEE Student Branch proudly added two new feathers to its crown with the successful inauguration of:

🔹 IEEE Circuits and Systems Society (CASS) Student Branch Chapter
🔹 IEEE Society on Social Implications of Technology (SSIT) Student Branch Chapter

The day was graced by eminent dignitaries including:
Mr. Murty Polavarapu – President-Elect, IEEE SSIT, USA
Dr. Ramalatha Marimuthu – Chairperson, IEEE SSIT, IEEE Madras Section
Dr. Kalpana Devi – Secretary, IEEE CASS Madras Chapter

The inaugurations witnessed inspiring sessions, valuable insights, and a promising beginning to foster innovation, research, collaboration, and societal impact.
