165 students and 5 faculty members from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering and Artificial Intelligence & Data Science at Jeppiaar Institute of Technology in Chennai visited CSIR-NEERI, Chennai, as part of an industrial visit on August 06, 2025 (Wednesday). During this event, Dr. R. Sivacoumar, Chief Scientist and Head, CSIR-NEERI, Chennai, delivered an informative lecture on Computing Techniques in Engineering. The session encouraged active engagement from the students, who gained valuable knowledge regarding the substantial contributions of computer science to engineering, particularly in emerging areas such as modelling and cloud computing. Following the event, the students and faculty members departed the campus after having lunch.
